Description
He’s her joy and her laughter
Her everything; from young to older
She never stopped being his light
And would do whatever to fight
All the challenges they’ve met
Because of him she didn’t fret.
But moved forward confidently
Nurturing him slowly and patiently.
While mending her broken heart
After her own world fell apart.
Now she’s old and fragile
And haven’t met him for awhile.
Holding memories of him leaving
Like a candlelight slowly dimming.
Seeing him look the other way
When they met with nothing to say.
Difficult to fathom her feeling
Unless in her shoes you’re standing.
For heaven’s eye could only despair
At a mother’s deep, loving care.
